Chen Weiss brings over 12 years of experience in special education, early literacy, and instructional coaching. In her role at Hebrew at the Center (HATC), Chen leads the Pritzat Derech project, an initiative designed to advance Hebrew reading literacy for students learning Hebrew as a second language, with a special focus on supporting students with learning disabilities. She works closely with school coordinators and educators to implement data-informed reading models and adapt curricula to meet the needs of all learners.

Before relocating to the US, Chen held several educational leadership roles in Israel, including language coordinator and pedagogical coordinator, and was part of the founding team of one of Israel’s first inclusive schools. Her expertise lies in guiding and coaching teaching staff, conducting classroom observations, and facilitating professional development. She specializes in helping educators transition to differentiated instruction and station-based learning, ensuring individualized support for every student.
