Meirav Levy has been an educator for 24 years in her native Israel and in the U.S. A graduate of Kay College, she earned her teaching certificate from the Israeli’s Ministry of Education. For 13 years, Meirav taught grades 2 – 6 and served as the Language Coordinator at Amirim Elementary School in Israel. For the last 11 years, she taught Hebrew to grades 3 – 8 at the Seattle Jewish Community School. Over the last three years as a coordinator, she has also created the Hebrew curriculum and guided teachers to implement the proficiency approach. Meirav enjoys implementing graphic design and technology into learning units and interactive games. And in her curricula, she stresses connections between Hebrew, Jewish identity and culture.
