Hebrew at the Center has created a series of introductory videos to help teachers and educators better understand the building blocks of language learning and teaching, including best practices and pedagogical theories. These videos include information on important topics such as Second Language Acquisition, Lesson Planning, Principles of the Proficiency Approach, and more. Whether this is a first step in deepening your skills or a refresher, Hebrew teachers and leaders can learn from our experts on their own time and bring these essential tools into their classroom, maximizing student outcomes and strengthening their schools.

The Reflective Hebrew Educator
This complimentary workshop provides an opportunity for Hebrew educators to explore the concept of transformative reflective practice. There are 3 main levels of reflection: Traditional/surface, Progressive/theoretical and practical, and Critical/transformative. If you are interested in finding out your level of reflection, join us! Participants will receive a Self-assessment Reflective Practice Protocol to examine their own reflective thinking and practice as they move from setting department and classroom goals to effective teaching. Core Competency – Personal and Professional Growth
