Hebrew is one of the oldest languages in the world, and one of the most alive. It has been revived, reinvented, and shaped by every generation that has spoken it. Today, it continues to grow and evolve, absorbing new realities, including the rapid emergence of AI and other technologies that are transforming how languages are taught and learned. 

For Hebrew educators in the Diaspora, teaching Hebrew has always been about more than proficiency. In an era where fracture and rebuilding coexist, Hebrew is the scaffolding upon which modern Jewish identity rests. Teachers are the conduits through which our students not only learn the language but gain a sense of belonging, serving at once as cultural interpreters, emotional anchors, and guides as the world opens around them. Hebrew language acquisition is the foundation of one’s relationship with Israel and the world Jewish community, and the contemporary realization of the Zionist idea: the ability of a people to tell their story in their own tongue.

• Hebrew as Identity in Practice: Approaches for making language acquisition a meaningful experience of connection to peoplehood, to Israel, and to personal Jewish identity for learners in the Diaspora. 

• Teaching in the Age of AI: How to engage thoughtfully with emerging technology as a tool that strengthens Hebrew education rather than replacing what makes it human. 

• Building Teacher Resilience: Strategies for supporting educator wellbeing and emotional and intellectual resilience for teachers in the face of uncertainty, burnout, and post-October 7th realities. 

• A Rich Professional Framework: Over 30 workshops across four content tracks, offering practical tools for navigating questions of belonging, peoplehood, and the day-to-day realities of your classroom.
