You are invited to nominate an outstanding Hebrew teacher, Hebrew leader, Hebrew Department Chair, Coordinator, Instruction Leader or other Hebrew Educators who have promoted their students’ Hebrew proficiency, deepen their connection to Israel and their Jewish identity, both inside and beyond the classroom. Help give them the recognition and appreciation they deserve!

Nominees will go through a review process, and a panel of experts will select two outstanding Hebrew educators in the Diaspora for 2025. 

What’s the award?
The two selected recipients – a teacher and a leader – will be each awarded a certificate of recognition, a $1,000 cash prize, a $1,000 professional development voucher for their school’s Hebrew team, and a personal invitation to the virtual Hitkadmut 2025 Conference. Additionally, five finalists will be honored with an Honorable Mention at the conference.
