בחינת האופן שבו הלומדים.ות שלנו חושבים.ות על מה יש בלימודי עברית ותרבות ישראלית ומדוע ללמוד אותם, יכולה לשמש כראייה לכך שהדרכים בהן אנחנו חושבים.ות על הוראה ומלמדים.ות הן אכן יעילות ומובילות לשינוי. שילוב הלומדים.ות בתהליך חקר זה מבטיח שקולם.ן יישמע ושלפרספקטיבות שלהם.ן תהיה השפעה אמיתית ומיידית על הבנתנו את הוראת העברית ויישומה. על מנת לעזור במיקוד הדיונים הרפלקטיביים בכיתה וביצירת “מרחב בטוח”, המשתתפים יקבלו פרוטוקולים ומשפטי פתיחה לסיוע בהנחיית רפלקצית לומדים.ות.
Examining our students’ thinking about what and how we help them learn the Hebrew language and about Israeli Culture can serve as evidence to whether the ways we think about teaching and the ways we teach are indeed effective and transformative. Involving them in the inquiry process ensures that students’ voices are heard and their perspectives have a real and immediate impact on our understanding and implementation of Hebrew instruction. To make this happen drawing from the practices students themselves use to develop their literacies is a critical multilingual pedagogical strategy.Prompts to facilitate reflection among students.
